In fact American stand on Honduras coup was not clear. They were neither supporting the coup nor openly opposed it.

One thing I can't understand that why didn't Obama clear his stand on the coup. He should have openly opposed it as it was anti democracy.

I think it's better for USA to back away from this matter. The interests of the USA are not really involved in this matter. It is, first, an internal Honduras problem. Second, it is a Latin American problem.
